VGA 0.47” LCD Monochrome Display

The VGA LCD Monochrome is an Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) with a resolution of 640 x 480. The VGA LCD (0.47”) utilizes high-performance single crystal silicon transistors providing 307,200 active pixels. The ultra-compact, ultra-low power, internal Common (VCOM) Line Heater VGA is ideal for industrial and rugged applications.

The VGA features Kopin’s low-voltage architecture for low-power consumption and compatibility with CMOS driver ICs. Bidirectional horizontal and unidirectional vertical scanner circuits are integrated along with a sleep mode to simplify system power management. The internal Row and Common Line Heaters allow operations at low temperatures.

The VGA LCD accepts parallel RGB analog inputs and can be driven by Kopin’s A253 driver display. An efficient waveguide white LED backlight is used for LCD illumination.
