CyberEVF WVGA 0.32” Color LCD Optical Module

The CyberEVF® WVGA is a compact Electronic ViewFinder (EVF) Color Optical Module aimed for commercial, industrial, and rugged applications. It integrates a transmissive WVGA 0.32” color LCD (854 x 480 resolution) that’s masked to provide a WVGA (640 x 480 resolution) viewing area, an efficient waveguide backlight, and optics with an easy-to-use focusing mechanism.

CyberEVF provides a bright full-color image with less than 1% distortion in a 23.8° (diagonal) field of view and comfortably large eye box (TBD mm) and eye relief (17.4 mm).

CyberEVF and Kopin’s A912 Display Driver ASIC together consume less than TBD mW at display brightness of TBDcd/m2, sufficient for outdoor usage. Further system power savings are achievable using capabilities on the ASIC and LCD.
